By nature, every year I tend to visit Thean Hou Temple (Tian Hou Gong Temple) with my family and kids, it is perhaps one of the hottest spots in Kuala Lumpur where I could feel the atmosphere of Chinese New Year the most, period.

2.) FGS Dong Zen Temple (东禅寺佛光山) Lantern & Flora Festival from 29 Jan to 16 February 2014 (Jenjarom, Banting)
Is perhaps the largest Buddisht religious, cultural and educational Malaysia temple in Jenjarom, Banting, Selangor.
The atmosphere here is very pleasing and natural. This year Chinese New Year 2014, there would be very exciting Lantern and Flora festival shows during Chinese New Year, a wishing pool, Buddisht Exhibition and Educational material.
If you’re a buddhist, I think you don’t want to miss this, as there are hundred of thousands of buddhist, followers of Hsing Yun 星雲大師 and Many Chinese going to visit this wonderful and peaceful attraction in the Chinese New Year 2014.

3.) Chinese New Year 2014 Open House Malaysia
As one of the most significant our Malaysia Culture, all different races are joining the Chinese New Year Open House events during this Malaysia Holiday Seasons. Although I’ve never pay a visit to any of government open house during Chinese New Year, but I may pay a surprise visit this year.
This year 2014, look up for the upcoming Large scale of Open Houses organized by the Government or even Local Government from Penang (Lim Guan Eng), Selangor, Wilayah Persekutuan, Ipoh, Johor or even Sabah and Sarawak
In all, I’m going to try to visit this 3 places and events on this Chinese New Year 2014, since I’m not traveling back to my home town this year.
